North Carolina Trip - Episode 2

The Outer Banks of North Carolina is chock full of family things to do. They all cost money however, so a family on a budget must strive to look for deals. Before I left for our trip I did some investigating and found some rather inexpensive, yet fun things to do for us.

We were blessed to find out that the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island was free on Veteran's Day. A big "YEAH" for us! So we loaded Uncles, Aunts, Grandparents and Cousins into the cars and off we went. It was a great adventure for the little ones

Xavi and Orrin releasing their turtles to sea

Another "hands on" moment, touching the rays.

close encounters with a shark

Digging for sharks teeth outside the acquarium
