Well when they say not every pregnancy is the same, believe it. This pregnancy has been very tough, I don't know if it's me getting older or my body just worn out from so many babies, or a combination of both. After having severe back pain for the last six weeks my OB finally gave me a prescription for some good pain medicines and a referral to PT twice a week. I went to my first PT and found I have a very common problem. My sacro-iliac ligaments are under severe pressure from the baby weight and it's causing chronic pain. Nothing much they can do except help strengthen some of the muscles around that area, my hamstrings, my lower back, and my stomach. I also found out that my left leg is 1cm shorter than my right leg, so now I'm wearing a heal lift in my shoe.
The medicine that works great is also giving me terrible nausea, so now I'm on nausea medicine as well. The good news, the birth of the baby will elevate all my issues. The bad news, it will only get worse as the pregnancy continues. My pain is most crippling in the morning, so if you have time and think of me in the morning, please pray for me! I'd appreciate it.
On a side note, Guido was giving Xavi a shower the other day when Xavi said, "Oh, I've got to do my exercises". He began mimicing my stretching exercises in the shower. What a hoot!

hmmm, that's not good. Now that you've been diagnosed have you done any poking around on the web to see if there is anything else out there that would help? Hot pads, herbal teas, more exercise, less, compression hosiery? I had vascular issues with preg. #4 that I still have today, the more I exercise though, the less the issue it is. Will remember you in the morning watch.
Sorry to hear that you are having pain :( It's always tough to hear when such a miraculous event as pregnancy is affected by issues like this. I'll keep you in my prayers. Love ya girl.
