Some Crafting Fun

I've been having fun doing a little computer crafting. Not that I'm an expert by any means! I just wanted to make an affordable gift for my parents' birthdays in April and then designed another set for Mother's day for Guido's grandmother and mother. I must say it's been fun. I designed these pictures and then made them into iron-on transfers for t-shirts.

Guido's grandmother's name with the kid's is Mimi. The picture of the little boy in the middle is my nephew Logan born to Guido's little sister, Jocelyn.

I was inspired by another blog site to make a "Garland of Praise" for Guido. Since I have horrible penmanship and the craft project required that I write things, I just did it on the computer and then printed the hearts onto pretty scrapbook paper I had on hand.

I hung it up on the banister. I think my husband was a little speechless to read all the nice things I wrote. Friday marks the anniversary of our first date. We will have been together for 5 years and I just wanted to do something special for him.

What sweet gifts. Those are heartfelt and handmade (or should we say hand typed....), they will mean more than anything you could buy in a store.
