2nd Birthday

Happy Birthday, Sweet Girl!

It seems in the Fall that all we do is celebrate birthdays, but now our Springs will be full of birthday as we celebrate Elian in March and Eva in April.  Yes, it's always hard to believe when my little babies turn into toddlers and then suddenly they're two.  Eva has been a go-getter since she was born.  She has wanted to catch up with her siblings in all they do and say.  Her vocabulary is quite large for a two year old, even if her pronunciation of them still sounds a little unclear.  She knows the Lord's prayer by heart and can identify letters in the alphabet.  She is very independent and does not want help with putting clothes on or going to the bathroom, so you can only imagine our daily quarrels.  Trying to keep up with her is a full time job.  Did I mention that she is also ingenious, coming up with ways to get m&m's off the counter and opening child-proof containers and getting into said chocolate and eating almost the entire container before getting caught in her mother's closet.

Eva really makes me laugh, her favorite joke right now is this:  Knock Knock.  Who's there?  Interrupting Cow.  Interrupting ..... MOO!  Except when she tells it sounds like more like "innerupting cow".
