Laundry Issue: Permanent Marker

So how do you clean permanent marker off your kids clothes? I've tried just about everything so I thought this time around I would experiment. These were my sons hand-me-down GAP shorts. Really nice, but it had a permanent marker stain.

Goof Off 2 advertises that it gets rid of all sorts of stains, but on fabric? It was a chance I was willing to make, the clothes were free and I would know whether or not this would work on the same kind of fabric next time.

I took a small toothbrush and worked the solution into the shorts and it worked! Now he has a nice pair of Sunday shorts, since it's summer and sometimes too hot to have to where long pants!
