Thanks to my military family and their military perks we were able to have a dream vacation at Disney for less than $35 a day per person. We stayed at a gorgeous resort and had a two bedroom condo for $124 a night. We had a blast and it was a wonderful experience overall with 6 children under 5, 2 being infants.

We spent the weekend with my inlaws and my brother and sister-n-law (although most of you know that my s-i-l is more like a sister!). The condo had a full kitchen and rather than wander around Orlando with six kids in tow we chose to cook at home and save ourselves money, time and opportunities for tired little children to throw tantrums. We gave ourselves no pressure for time and went as we pleased.
We realize that in the heat of Florida the best time to go with kids to the parks is in the late afternoon. Less sun time and more fun time. This freed the morning for kids to play at the resort and eat lunch and take naps. By the time we got the park, kids were rested and ready for fun for the rest of the day well into the night.

We also came to learn that Epcot is the best place for kids 5 and under. The entire time we were in Epcot no one had to sit out and wait a ride out with babies. All family units stayed together. There is so much more hands on fun for kids to experience at Epcot and the food for the adults in the World Showcase is amazingly delicious (not to mention the marvelous margaritas in Mexico).
We only used 2 days of our 4 day pass and have the use of 4 days of water parks too. We'll be returning again in the summer for the water park fun and the fall for the last two days.

Netta how wonderful! Not just cause it's Disney but the family moments and memories that you get to make while there - beautiful.
