Barbie gave us a great excuse to practice some of our fine motor skills. Both the girls practiced washing and hanging up Barbie's clothes on the clothesline. The opening and closing of clothespins were a little challenging for even Veronica. But she worked really hard at it. Veronica gets flustered easily when she is challenged and trying to get her back on task when she feels she has failed is sometimes difficult. So do any of you have children who quit when they get defeated? How do you encourage them to finish a task without having a meltdown?
