Do you have a favorite toy from your childhood? Did you have dreams of saving it so that your children could play with it someday? I did. When I was 10 I saved every penny of my allowance and bought this Wedgewood miniature tea set. I loved it with a great passion and played with it often.
Today I took it out of it's box and shared it with the two older kids and had a tea time snack. They were so thrilled to use it and asked if they could have snack like this every day. It warmed my heart.

I saved my barbies and bought Elise a tea set because the one I played with as a child was not bought for me but I was allowed to play with it. Your set is wonderful...bigger than what I had/have...it is a practical size for actually having a snack and tea!
What fun! We had a wonderful tea party for Naomi's 8th birthday- but that was quite a few years ago.
Ahh... that's so heart warming to see. I saved my Barbies too, I collected international Barbies and many are still in the box. I asked Gigi if I could mail them to her girls a couple of weeks ago because at this point of my reality, why am I keeping them when some little girls that I adore could have fun playing with them?
