I found this unpainted frame at the dollar store today. I've been looking for a frame this size to hang some pictures of my niece and nephew. I was so pleasantly surprised and thought I had everything I needed to get it painted. Wrong! No black paint, so while I scoured my supplies I saw a bottle of black shoe polish and went with it. It did the job and with a few scrapbook items, voila, my pictures are done and all for a $1. It's nice to find a little craft projects to do during nap time. I know I should have probably been doing housework, but it felt fun to be creative.
