Civil Rights March For the Unborn

Took the kids down to Selma, AL today to participate in a Civil Rights March for Unborn Americans. We were set to march on the historical route across the Pettus Bridge. The day started out in Chelsea looking like this

It takes about 1.5 hour drive to get to Selma from our house. It began to rain but the march did go on. We huddled under a portico of a restaurant and sang some worship songs and then prayed. We all crossed the bridge under cover of umbrellas with American flags waving and spirits high. Guido and I participated in the National March For Life in Washington DC a couple of years ago and it was so exciting to be part of such a large move of people fighting to stop abortion. This crowd wasn't as big, but it still felt good to be able to do something to draw attention to the horrific Holocaust of abortion. My camera got wet and the only picture I got was of Veronica standing in front of the bridge. But here's a photo album off the Alabama Citizens For Life website.
