Apparently, my kids found a blue dry erase marker and decided to decorate our home.
The foyer wall decorated
The staircase decorated
The left wall of the hall decorated, as Xavier exclaimed "Look what we drew for you".
The right wall of the hall decorated
The living room wall decorated
My bedroom sheets decoratedHow long did it take me to scrub down the walls, 2 hours. How long did I cry as I was scrubbing the walls, 2 hours. Daddy was at work. Mommy was ready to be instituted. During my crying, Veronica said she'd be happy to get me a tissue. Xavier asked "Are you really that mad?". The laundry will have to wait at my house.

Isn't it how absolutely insane we get and in their minds they are just creating a masterpiece. Glen got the bright idea to make our basement a huge walk-in closet with everyone's clothes. It is really great because all the clothes stay down there and I don't have to carry clothes up two flights of stairs, the down side is I have to find crazy times of the day or night to do the laundry. If I left Lydia for five minutes there is no telling what she'd get in to.
Oh my....!!! Boy your kids can cover some major ground in such a short amount of time! And they are skilled in all kinds of mediums for their canvas...from linoleum to drywall to sheets.
#1 child was the only one not to do what you described. I couldn't get the sharpie marker off the wall w/ #2 child so I painted the hall a lovely light shade of periwinkle blue. I've flipped my quilt over so I don't have to look at the blue ink #4 left. Seems like I had to repaint for #3 as well...before he learned to draw with pencils. A few of those we've left up...he learned to be discreet.
Gloria, there are 2 of them. Can you imagine what 3 will be able to cover? Reading Emily's entry only makes me thankful that this is really the first time it's happened. Apparently not the last.
They're fast aren't they? Very artistic, though, they have a consistent pattern of blue going along the wall and is that a bug on your sheets? There's true talent there, lol!
ugh...Mia and a few of her friends did this (it was crayon) all over the walls of three freshly painted rooms when we moved into our house three years ago. I had to be held back by my husband or go to prison. I feel your pain!!
