Almost there...
Okay so last week when I went in for my 38th week check up the doctor told me to go to the hospital to get monitored. I was 3 cm dilated with contractions at 3 minutes apart. We thought we were having her. But after two hours of monitoring with contractions I had not dilated any more. I was only 60% effaced and -2 (the baby was still very high). So back home we all went. We were all disappointed. This week at my 39th week check up, I was told I'm 3 1/2 cm dilated, 70% effaced and still -2. I was feeling a little discouraged wondering if this baby is ever going to come. The midwife who saw me told me that 3rd babies tend to dilate first and then come down rather than, full effacement and dilatation like the 1st baby. She says that when I hit 4cm dilatation my contractions are going to really change and get harder and from then things will move quickly. She thinks this will happen over the weekend, but I have an appointment on Monday to schedule an inducement on Wednesday my due date just in case things don't move on their own. What's really great about all this is my favorite midwife is on call this weekend! Yeah, I'm so excited.

My prayers are with you. Hopefully, by the time you read this you'll have your little one by your side (rather than inside, hee hee).
It's been 4 days since your last update and I can't help but wonder if Veronica's baby sister has arrived yet. I hope and pray all is well and you are enjoying your newest Gonzalez.
I was thinking the same thing?
