I mentioned birthdays in my last posting. Here are a few of Veronica on her 1st birthday. The Birthday theme was all about Ladybugs. Our friend Diana made this beautiful cake! It not only looked good, but tasted delicious. Veronica wore a cute little red gingham dress with ladybugs. We held the party in the afternoon so as not to interfere with her nap. She of course must have known something was up, because she didn’t nap. I was worried and a little nervous that she might not enjoy her party, but overall it was a wonderful day. I so want the kids to have good memories of their birthdays, but large parties can be so exhausting. We’ll simplify next year.
