Reading the Bible Chronologically
When I studied the book of Isaiah this past year, there were also extra readings in the Book of Kings to help us see the historical facts happening with the prophetic things. I really enjoyed this because it really helped me see the bigger picture of the things that happened. I'm a visual learner and reading and comprehension for me is hard when things are not put into some kind of chronological pattern. Especially when it comes to reading God's word. Just recently I was reading one the older Bibles in the house that belonged to my father-n-law when he was a young soldier in the 70's. In the front of the Bible was a chart with a chronological order of reading the Bible. It peaked my interest and so I've started on the journey. I hate to admit that even though I've been a Christian for over 20 years I have failed to read the whole Bible. You'd think that something so sacred to the core of my beliefs would be something I have memorized by heart. Alas, it has not. But rather than beat myself over the head about this, I'll just start reading. If your interested, here's a chart with the chronological order.

I'm in the same boat girlfriend, and have had the same thoughts about how I feel as if I am falling short in my faith in this area. I even bought a chronological bible once....I wonder where I put it?
