A Short Visit Home

Aunt Millie's funeral brought us home to Jacksonville for a very quick visit, but also a very sweet one. We spent our evenings with my family (both my parents work) and spent the day visiting Guido's family. Jocelyn, Guido's youngest sister, just recently moved back home from spending almost 2 years away. The history of all that is bittersweet, but the reunion of her two children with our three was wonderful. We spent the days before Christmas decorating cookies, and enjoying fellowship with many relatives. If you come from a Hispanic family than you will know that Christmas or any other family time means the following: loud tv, loud music, and everyone talking over the tv & music. It can be a sensory overload for me at times but for Guido it's the sound of home sweet home.

Logan also loved cookie decorating

Really getting into it.
