Our little town had it's annual Christmas Parade. Our church decided to be involved and did a float for the first time. Many of our parishioners felt that the parade had no visible representation of the real meaning of Christmas, that being Christ! So we decided to do a float with the three wise men and a banner that read "Wise men still seek Him". It was a cold a blistery day. Guido and Xavi were going to walk in the parade and the girls and I were going to watch. As you can see from the pictures, Guido walked and Xavi sat in the truck pulling the trailer (much too cold for him).
Our church is full of such talented people and everyone used their talents to glorify Jesus! While I know I'm biased in my opinion, I did think our float really looked sharp. There were other churches who participated in the parade and believe it or not, nothing Christian about them. All the floats threw out candy and Veronica collected a full bag. The girls and I hung out with the Robicheaux family and tried to huddle to keep warm.
