We are working on our fine motor skills. After watching Xavier color last week I noticed that he was having difficulty drawing lines and circle because he was not holding his crayon or pencil in the proper way. Veronica who is 11 months younger has no problem and her prewriting skills are probably above her age level. So to strengthen Xavi's thumb and forefinger we are doing a variety of fun fine motor activities. Today we strung beads. Yesterday we took medicine drops and colored water and transferred them to different containers. They find this activiy alot of fun so we did that today also. It's amazing how quite the house is when the two of them are hard at work.

Cutting playdough also works wonders.
