I was pleasantly surprised by this made-for-TV-movie that was released on DVD. Hubby picked it up from our local library. It's about an army guy, so being sentimental towards that branch of service he thought it would be something we both might like; war and romance. While the acting may be a little slow the storyline is extremely tender. I was thinking about growing up and all the silly romance stories I would make up for my girlfriends. It does remind you a little of a harlequin tale, but it's wholesome, not raunchy and no gratuitous sex. It was just nice to watch a really nice love story. And it is more love story than war movie. If I were Siskel and Ebert I would give it two thumps up!
