Here We Go Again....

Okay, I've got some exciting news.... You're going to think we're crazy...... We're moving again.

For the last 2 months we've been ministering in Chelsea, Alabama at a small CEC church that has been without a rector. They've been looking for a year now and after much prayer, counsel, and finally our Archbishop's blessing, Guido has accepted the heavy responsibility of becoming the rector for Church of the Good Shepherd.

Guido will still continue to pursue his education with Luther Rice Seminary and commute to the Georgia campus when necessary. He will also continues to pursue his calling to military chaplaincy as God directs. In fact this move will enable him to get the necessary ministry hours the military chaplaincy program requires more so than we could have in Georgia. The church has a parsonage and a small stipend that will help off set living on student loans.

It's an exciting development for our family and yet I am filled with butterflies at the heavy responsibility my husband will now carry. But I must tell you that I have never seen my husband so happy at the prospect of being in ministry full time and going to school. Learning and the opportunity to share the Gospel are two of his favorite things.

So please keep us in your prayers as we embark on yet another adventure. Growing up military did prepare us for moving around a lot. Xavi is already excited about his new home. I can't wait to introduce you to some of the church family. They are a warm and inviting group of people. I'll have more pictures to share as we get closer to the move. We're moving March 20th.

Prayers and blessings upon you all!!! Very nice family photo, your children are so beautiful! Wait, you said March 20th! More prayers and blessings sent your way! I hope you have help while you're packing, it can be so time consuming, with the little ones around, too. I'm sure you're a pro at it, though, having done so growing up. God bless!!!
