Olde Town Christmas Party

Today was Guido's birthday. We celebrated with Belgian waffles for breakfast and then a special lunch at home (Chicken Marsala) with a Blueberry Birthday Cake, requested by Guido. The day ended with a Christmas party in our Old Town with free horse drawn carriage and train trolley rides, and a visit with Santa. This was the first time the kids have ever visited with Santa. We met up with our friends, the Smiths, and while in the carriage we broke out and sang "Jingle Bells". Ever since then Xavi has been trying to make bell sounds wherever he goes and he sings the song with fervor almost every day. I think he posed himself pretty good in the picture above. He looks pretty comfortable with Santa. However, Veronica wasn't too sure of the old man.

I love how Xavi is just leaning on him. Such the little cool dude.
