While waiting at a stop light today we encountered a homeless man. Xavi asked me why the man was standing outside. I told him that he was homeless, without a home. And Xavi said "You mean he has to live on the grass!". Xavi asked me all sorts of questions about the man. It really made him think. I didn't think Xavi would understand some of the concepts we were talking about, but he asked some thought provoking questions for a 3 year old.
I had to ask myself, what are we doing as a family to show him that we care for other.

Isn't it amazing how sometimes the deepest questions come from the little ones!!! I still remember some of those times, and they still haven't stopped asking some tough ones.
