Hard Labor Creek

I know I must be crazy! I've signed up for a leadership position with my local MOPS group when I am just about to give birth to my third child. And yet, I am excited at the opportunities this will afford me. I have decided to take on the Publicity Position responsible for advertising our local MOPS more in our community. As we do not have our Finance Position filled, several of us are splitting the responsibilities and also adding that to our position. So I am also responsible for getting some corporate sponsorship help. I spent the weekend in the quaint little town of Rutledge, Ga at a beautiful State Park called Hard Labor Creek. It definitely described the intensity at which we all worked together! We spent two night away from home bonding as women and setting up our agenda for this coming year. Our theme is "Adventures in Mothering". I already feel I'm headed up the roller coaster. I'm at 30 weeks already in my pregnancy. Hard to believe that time has flown by so quickly. I'm a little anxious about everything and yet so ready for this baby to come now. We passed a tremendous milestone in this pregnancy, for my two previous births I was on bed rest by now. This could be a testament to how well my husband and I have kept our lives here in Georgia "stress free". Thank you Lord for your peace that passes all understanding, for you govern our lives with your wisdom and strength and fill our hearts and minds with joy.
