X Is For X-Ray

I'm so proud of Xavi, he had his first X-ray this past Wednesday and did a perfect job of laying still and cooperating with the techs. About a month ago I wrote about Xavi's problems and although we went to the doctor and had some relief, things started slowing down again two weeks ago. So for fear of some bowel obstruction I took him back to the doctor. When she felt his stomach she said she did feel some hardness so she ordered an X-ray of his stomach. I told Xavi we were going to the hospital to take a picture of his tummy. He was extremely excited. When he actually got into the room with the machines, he said "When she takes a picture of my tummy can I say, cheese?" Because I'm pregnant I could not stay with him in the room so another tech came to assist. They asked me if he would lay still, I wanted so badly to roll my eyes and say, "Ah, he's two, what do you think?" But I held my tongue and was polite. We play a game called Freeze Dance, the music plays and when it stops, the kids freeze. So I leaned over to Xavi on the table and said, we're going to play a game. When the lady takes your picture you're going to freeze. I left the room and voila, in just one snap they had what they needed. Yeah for my little boy! Don't have any results to report, but when they come in I'll share.
