Memorial Day Swim

I think I have always associated Memorial Day as a great swim day. I love to go to the beach or the pool and just relax, soak up the sun, and then swim to cool off. Since we have no beaches close to us anymore, we took the kids to a county park that had a water park. Compared to the prices of major water parks this park was so cheap, $2 a child and $5 for adults. They had a great area for kids which included two miniature water slides that the kids both enjoyed. We packed our lunch and had a picnic and played and played in the water. I really didn't think Veronica would enjoy the kid's area as much as she did, but she was so excited to go up and down the water slides. There was a little lazy river that we rode around several times. It was just a wonderful family day together. The day was hot but with a cool breeze. The kids were shivering so we called it a day and went home. Here are a few shots of our children who refused to unwrap themselves from their towels!

Could I be any colder, Mom!

We're done, take us home!

What fun! We spent the day soaking up the sun in my parent's backyard. I tried to take a dip in the water but it was way too cold! And then the slight breeze was just enough to make it chilly despite the warm sun and blue skies. I am sure they were quite ready for a nap once all the excitement was said and done (the adults too for that matter)! I'm glad to see that Guido was able to take a little break from his studies and spend the day with ya'll too.

As to the previous comments - believe me, FOREX is terrifying me as well. From one moment to the next you don't know if you are making or losing...and then I start questioning whether or not I read the signals right. The book I'm reading know is all about overcoming the psychological barriers within us, staying neutral.....in the zone and not associating any emotions with the market. It is taking me forever to read though, I'm sure if it was attached to some intriguing love story I would be done within the day....but alas it isn't which is why it is taking me so long. Learning some good stuff though. Arthur told me how FOREX is popular in Asia with the housewives.

The waterpark sounds like a dream.
Palm Bay had something a little like that. Why doesn't Jacksonville have something like that? We went to Hannah Park...beautiful but crazy crowded when we were ready to leave. Loved the pictures of the kids.
