One of my favorite childhood stories is celebrating a huge milestone. They ran the miniseries on PBS this weekend which included the third movie in this trilogy, "Anne, The Continuing Story". Although it's great to see the characters alive again in a new story, it's still very disappointing because it doesn't follow any of the LM Montgomery books. I hope Veronica loves these books as much as I did.

Oh Yes....Anne....
A very dear friend of mine (hint,hint) introduced these stories to me and I quickly became a devoted fan. I remember how disappointed I was in the 3rd movie too. When it was first release I was so excited...thinking it would be like Anne's House of Dreams when she and Gilbert began their family life together....but it was so dark and dreary that I didn't even buy the movie.
Don't you think that the actor who played Gilbert looked like he was ill?
