Scrapbooking and Rambling

I have so much catching up to do on my scrapbooking. I've got all the pictures processed, now I just have to cut and paste. I feel the pressure with the new baby coming to get everything caught up. I think I'm going to get a bunch of my MOPS friends together for a night of scrapbooking. The only problem with that is I'll end up socializing more than working. Neither of the kids have baby books done. I at least have a wedding album completed with most of the honeymoon pictures. For my film developing I use and love Clarks! http://www.clarkcolor.com/ They are very reasonable. Granted you have to wait for them to be delivered, but since I'm such a procrastinator with photos it really doesn't hurt me to have to wait. I've got all my supplies, so there are no more excuses. Do you love to scrapbook? I know my girlfriend Gloria does! This girl has saved so many memories. I remember visiting her when she lived in South Florida to find that she had kept notes we passed to each other in jr. high school! She had a whole system. It was organized in drawers. Come to think of it she could probably use some of it as blackmail someday! Just kidding Gloria! I'll just tell my kids when it comes to memories of jr. & sr. high to go to "Aunt Gloria" for all the juicy stories. Not that I had any "juicy" stories mind you. My stories are more about embarrassing social interactions than anything else. Thanks for treasuring our times together Gloria!

My Palm Bay friends had a scrapbook baby party for me, where they all did a baby page so all I would have to do is slap the pictures down. Good thing my mom made one for Elise. I did do one for the boys. I guess if I spent more time cropping and less time blogging I would have a lot more albums. Hmmmm

Yes, I am a total scrapbook junkie. Love it! Twice a year I go to a weekend retreat and spend the whole time scrapbooking. It is what keeps me current with my books. There is just something about journaling all my memories to pictures. I guess I am a natural born historian.

...how fun it will be to look at those old notes with Veronica one day where she can read all about her mommy's crushes and homework angst!
